Mary E. Roach is a former early childhood teacher who now writes across genres and age categories, most recently thrillers for the young adult audience and romances for the adult audience.

When she is not writing stories for and about powerful women, Mary enjoys running, teaching martial arts, and disappearing into the wilderness. Mary lives in St. Paul with her wife and their very disagreeable cat.

Her young adult titles include Better Left Buried, about two girls who fall in love during a murder investigation at an abandoned amusement park, and Seven for a Secret, about a vengeful girl looking for answers about her missing sisters.

Her adult titles include We Are the Match, a romantic suspense featuring a contemporary remix of the myth of Helen of Troy featuring a sapphic romance, crime families, and explosive love, and Love at First Kill, a forthcoming romantic suspense about a hitman and a grumpy ex-librarian both gunning for the same target.

Mary’s forthcoming titles include Bromantasy, a joyful romantasy about two best “bros” who fall in love while on a dragon-hunt they’re deeply, embarassingly unqualified for, and Little Monsters, a fantastical middle grade reimaging of Little Women.
